As a member of the Sane development team (pixma backend), I contact you as we recently have been informed about an issue concerning Gimp and image acquisition using the Gimp Xsane plug-in.
In the Xsane plug-in (i.e. Xsane runned from the Gimp), it is possible to set several pages to scan, using the page counter.
However, only 1 image is acquired by the Gimp, even if the page counter is set to more than 1.
Note that when running Xsane as standalone application from the shell, scanning several pages works fine, and you get several scanned images in the Xsane GUI.
Could it possible to get a fix for this, in order to acquire several images in the Gimp when setting the Xsane page counter, this is particularly useful with scanners that can perform button scanning, like Canon Pixma MFP devices.
