Add link in /infolog/templates/index.xet ??

Hi, I'am pretty new to e-groupware but I think it is an excellent thing for intranets etc..
So, I'm trying to code a new link into /infolog/templates/index.xet but it will not work
I have made my own php-scripts and I need them to popup when clicking on a link in infolog, right beside (Add note and phonemessage)

How can I do that, so it will be working?
