Add option to always show comparisons in dialogHi subclipse users,
A while ago, I was able to view commit-time diffs in a separate dialog box. This functionality seems to have been removed and is now shown in the commit dialog box alongside the commit comment information. Is there a way to revert back to the old functionality? Showing the diffs alongside the commit information takes up way too much space. I'd rather have it in a separate dialog when I want to see it and not have it there by default. Thanks! Ian |

The new approach allows you to edit you commit message while viewing the diff. -- Thanks Mark Phippard http://markphip.blogspot.com/ ------------------------------------------------------ http://subclipse.tigris.org/ds/viewMessage.do?dsForumId=1047&dsMessageId=2408554 To unsubscribe from this discussion, e-mail: [users-unsubscribe@...]. |

Hi subclipse users, Since it doesn't look like the mailing list mails responses back to me, I'm responding to my own message. I see markphip responded to me at [0]. I don't want to view the diff next to the commit-comment. I want to view the diff in its own dialog. I see the toggle, but when I double-click on a file to view the diff it just opens up the view on the side again. When I use the "Commit" dialog box, usually my focus is solely on the commit comment. If I'm interested in what changes will be submitted, I double-click the file and then my focus is that individual file, not the file + the commit comment. When this happens, the commit comment textbox is just an annoying box off on the left of the diff viewer. [0] http://subclipse.tigris.org/ds/viewMessage.do?dsForumId=1047&dsMessageId=2408554 |

It would be really nice to have the option to choose whenever to show diffs in a same window or in a separate. -- Best regards Mikhail Barg Jabber: mba@...
