What options are available to me (I use SlugosBE)? I note that Wiki page
http://www.nslu2-linux.org/wiki/Peripherals/WirelessNetworkAdapter is abit out of date, given especially recent developments at
http://rt2x00.serialmonkey.com regarding the drivers for the Ralink chipsets, for which Slugos 4.* is probably not good enough.
I don't want to be fiddling around with individual chips. What I really want is some embeddable module with all the RF chips on it, but taking full advantage of the TCP/IP stack already provided by Slugos, and the ethernet PHY already present on the Slug. But all the modules I have found so far are a huge overkill, containing 1 (sometimes 2) Arm processors plus a fully featured TCP/IP stack, internal web-page configuration, and all other bells and whistles - pluis a huge price to match, of course :-( .
And i don't want some totally external box. I _might_ manage with a USB dongle (and I gather drivers for such could be found), but I am likely to be faced with weak signal strengths, and really need to organize my own antenna (directional and remotely located, if needs be).
So, all suggestions welcome!
