Admin Username/password

Hi all,
Not wanting to look silly but...what’s the initial admin user details? I’ve just installed the latest trunk as my first ever install and I can’t seem to get any of the previously mentioned details to work.

I’ve tried: admin / admin  and admin / secretpassword

Any ideas?

My user.properties file is empty – is this correct??

There is no user created by default.

You need to edit
C:\Program Files\Red5_0.7.0\webapps\admin\WEB-INF\users.properties

and add

admin=669321dd105fe8c3c2405cffe5916f0e,ROLE_SUPERVISOR

for admin/secretpassword .

I finally could login into the flex admin, the steps to follow are  :
1.start red5  0.7.0
2.open this url :  http://localhost:5080/admin/register.html
3.in the form fill your new user and password  and submit
4.restart red5 and enter http://localhost:5080/demos/adminPanel.html using "localhost" and the user/pass you define in step 3.

i think this info should be included in the documentation if it is not there yet   :p

should also take you there or 

http://localhost:5080/admin/panel.jsp

thats what happens anyway it redirects. I have discovered some issues with the user cache not being updated and will still display 0 in the cache so im trying to fix that.

Sorry guys but it’s still not working and yes, I’m using port 80 so the link below would use this instead of 5080 but I tried that too.

I’m on Windows 2003, using Red5 0.7 from the WAR trunk files.

Any ideas??
