I would like to know your opinion on Debian bug #546655 (

So, before posting on the dri-devel list, are there kernel people or IA-64 gurus subscribed to this list who could confirm this is a problem with DRI or not? I would like to avoid cross-posting on the dri-devel and linux-kernel lists if one or the other part isn't involved.
