After Power Failure Banshee won't start

I had a recent power failure and when I restarted my system, Banshee will not start.  It fails with a fatal exception with the following detail.  Any suggestions on how to fix this?  i'm guessing that the database is probably corrupt but I have no idea how too fix it.  I even tried a complete removal and reinstallation but it still fails.

Try deleting the database (back it up before deleting), it's located
in ~/.config/banshee-1/banshee.db
