Following the telcon yesterday, I've released DocBook V5.0CR6.
http://docbook.org/xml/5.0CR6/

If all goes well, this will become the standard on 7 November. That is
if no one reports any bugs :-)

Weblog posts and an updated TDG to follow...

Thanks Norm.

Is there any need for a catalog for v5?
An entry in the nxml schema files perhaps?
Or is it just for the stylesheets?

regards

Announce: DocBook V5.0CR*7*

The magic number is seven. I hope. It wasn't six, anyway.

Today I released DocBook V5.0CR7, http://docbook.org/xml/5.0CR7/

There aren't any user-visible changes, but I reorganized some of the
sources a bit so that things will be easier for the Publishing
Subcommittee to customize.

If all goes well, *this* will become the standard on 7 November. That
is if no one reports any bugs :-)

Weblog posts and an updated TDG (still) to follow...

Please check:

[~/wc/svn/docbook]$ grep -rl attavlue  *
defguide5/en/tools/lib/defguide.rnd
docbook/relaxng/docbook/src/callouts.rnc

is a typo for "attvalue" ?

Yep. Fixed in the repository. It's purely documentation so I'm not going
to generate another release for it.

Bah. You mean I actually have to publish it? It's not enough to just
build it on my laptop?

Err. Yeah. Sorry about that.
