Dear Groovy/Grails Community,

We would like to formally announce the presence of G2One Inc
(http://www.g2one.com) - the Groovy/Grails company. G2One has been founded
by Graeme Rocher (Grails Project Lead), Guillaume LaForge (Groovy
Project Lead) and Alex Tkachman (Former JetBrains COO) to provide
consultancy, training, support and products around Groovy & Grails.

This is fantastic news for the Groovy/Grails community as for the
first time Groovy & Grails has a commercial entity behind it. Groovy's
tech lead, Jochen "blackdrag" Theodorou, has already joined G2One and
with Guillaume starting full time from next week Groovy and Grails
will have 4 full time contributors with hopefully more coming in the
future.

Our focus for the next few months is driving the releases of Groovy
1.1 and Grails 1.0 followed by plunging straight ahead into the
improvements planned for Groovy 2.0. We hope to make Groovy and Grails
an even bigger success story than what has already been achieved at
the JAX Innovation Awards.

Cheers!
