We're looking at authenticating using LDAP instead of the default provided in Daisy.
We currently have an instance running with plenty of users. Their usernames are firstname.lastname (ie. john.doe) . However, network names are usually lastname and first letter of the first name (ie. doej).
1. If I don't enable the auto create user function, then, I would simply have to go through my user list and change their usernames to reflect their network names?
2. This also begs the question, can an authentication scheme exist without autoCreateUser rules?
