	Another timeout-case. But how long is that timeout? by Peter Guhl-3 :: Rate this Message: Reply to Author \| View Threaded \| Show Only this Message Hello all I had a working Setup in Exiga 2.x. After Updating to Ubuntu 9.04 I got a new Ekiga 3.2.0 and nothing works anymore. It is trying to register and fails with timeout. Even if I set up a full 1:1 NAT at my CyberGuard. With or without STUN. I got the impression that it's waiting for only a few seconds until it retries. Isn't that a bit short for a timeout? My provider's server seems to be a bit slow when I ping (ping times are good but it takes very long until ping shows me the results - no Idea what that means). My SIP-Provider is "e-fon.ch". I don't have an ekiga account and I don't need one... do I really need to create one just for debugging? Speaking about debugging... that stuff is in the attachments (let's see if the list accepts them ;-) The account works when I use the 3CX SIP-Client on Windows XP at the same machine and it works with the Snom Hardware SIP-Telephone I could lend for a few weeks. In both cases without any adjustments at the firewall.
