Antarctica RFIWe are researching a trip to Antarctica. We had one scheduled 6 years ago but my wife broke her $%^&*( foot several weeks before and we had to cancel. Prices are nearly 100% higher now. Anyone have any experience with Quark expeditions, which appars to come closest to fitting our budget and schedule. Also, anyone have a trip insurance recommendation given our past bad luck.

Re: Antarctica RFIHi Richard and All,
I traveled with Quark to Antarctica this past January. It was an organized trip with 83 of the 122 passengers being birders on the VENT trip. Quark did an incredibly good job. I cannot speak too highly of them. I'd travel with them again at the drop of a hat. They know their stuff and have excellent leaders on board if you are not going with a birding group. Everything from the food to the rooms to the wildlife was top-notch! It was an amazing trip! Go! You won't regret it!
