Anyone know the limitations on what creatures you can play at the same time? ie.....

Anyone know any of the rules as far as limitations on cards you can play...

1. for example can you play more than one ultra rare card in the same battle: ie. a maxxor and a chaor at the same time.........i think it already said somewhere you can only play one of the same ultra rare card at the same time......ie. you can't play 2 maxxor or 2 chaor, but can you play 1 of each?

2. how many copies of the same card can you play?  ie. can you have 20 viperlash or 20 powerpulse attack cards..............or use 6 of the same creature? or same 10 location?

I'm not sure these questions have really been covered yet in any rules, but some stuff I wondered if anyone knows...........thanks.

We have been told the game uses the "Rule of Two". You can not have more than 2 of the same cards in your deck. Also it's not 'Ultra Rare' cards, it cards marked as "unique" (unique cards will have "Unique" printed on them). You can only have 1 of these in your deck instead of 2 like the others. Just because a card is ultra rare, does not mean it's unique.

Maxxor and Chaor could never be placed on the same team because they can not be placed on mixed tribe battle teams.

With the rule of 2, you would never be able to use 10 of the same locations or 20 of the same attacks. You also have what we think is limits on building your attack deck, you can read more about that in this thread.

thanks.......that is helpful.........and i'm sure its because nothing is in official print yet, but I noticed that Heptad says that he can't be in mixed tribe groups, but it doesn't say that on the Maxxor or Chaor pics I have seen.........but it does make sense for that to be true.....I just haven't seen anything that has said "unique" yet, but I imagine thats because this is all pre-release..........and to be clear you are saying at least by what is out there now and what you understand that you could use more than one unique card at the same time as long as they aren't the same card?  ie. Maxxor with Heptad at the same time?

I haven't looked at the link yet, but I kinda thought there might be limits on the attack deck too because of the build numbers on them in the upper left corner.......

ahhh, thanks, i haven't seen that card........ive been looking at the the pics from the card art (obviously those are just proto-types) and the stuff they have on chaoticgame.com which the stats, abilities and descriptions are different from that..........that card you showed probably being closer to the official cards.........thanks again.

#1: creatures like maxxor have a "unique" ability that only allows 1 of them in each deck.cards that dont have the "unique" ability can have at least 2 cards in a deck.
#2:like i said the rule of two only allows 2 of any card ( accept creatures with "unique" ability)in a deck.
