Application as Debian Maintainer for Heiko Stübner

Hi,

This is my declaration of intent to become a Debian Maintainer,
<http://wiki.debian.org/Maintainers>.

I have read the Social Contract, Debian Free Software Guidelines and
Debian Machine Usage Policy and agree with all of them.

Currently I am a member of the pkg-fso team and co‐maintain the packages fso-
abyss, fso-misc-vapi, fso-usaged, libfso-glib, libfsobasics, libfsoframework,
libfsotransport, libgsm0710 and libgsm0710mux of the freesmartphone.org
software-stack.
Additionally I maintain the package agtl, a geocaching helper.

My GnuPG key 9A5F5BBC is signed by the Debian Developers Erik Schanze and Jan
Dittberner.

I look forward to becoming a Debian Maintainer.

To whom it may concern,

I am one of Heiko's sponsors and can report that he is
sufficiently technical to become a maintainer of his packages,
that is he friendly and communicating well, thus of benefit
to Debian at large.

I should also mention that Heiko is pro-active on the mailing
list towards an ever better running Debian on the FreePhone.
His postings on the OpenMoko mailing list(s) happened to impress
me even considerably more than the (completely painless)
packaging work ... well, it is more interesting :)

So, please enable him to play out his exceptional skills more
easily and accept him as a DM now ... and as a DD somewhen
later, so I hope.

Hi.

I've sponsored uploads of packages prepared by Heiko, and I may confirm
that those packages do match debian quality standards.

Heiko works within pkg-fso team, that tries to make Debian useful on Neo
Freerunner phone. The team constantly lacks manpower, so making packages
directly uploadable by Heiko, thus making upload procedure simpier, will
be really helpful.
