Arabic translation for Drupal 6.x

Hi all

Please I'd love to get or have an Arabic translation package to be used with my website as it will be in Arabic.

Also can I have the back end or the admin control panel in English and the interface in Arabic?

All,

If anyone has good numbers for the cost to localize Drupal, or apps like
it (size of the messages catalog), please drop me a line. I'm preparing
a grant application and I'd like to include in the budget localizations,
in addition to hardware and other items.

Try the first hit on a search for "arabic" on drupal.org...
There is a 6.x-Dev version, I've no idea how good it is.

Not really, I think. You can enable both Arabic and English and the
admins chose English as a language.

Actually it is not stable and I've got some errors which I do not understand and I did posted regarding this issue in the main support forum before posting here but no one replied or helped and this is why Iam posting here and hope to find a help as I am really would like to use Drupal as it is far better from Joomla, as the only reason I was using Joomla was the support for the Arabic support language.

Eric,

When i translated Drupal 5.x to Czech on my own, I spent around one week
on it. I had some previous translations of 4.7, I guess that without it,
i estimate it to 1.5 - 2 weeks. Hardware - almost none, just a laptop
and gettext files editor :) (Or localization server)
