Hi,
I'm trying to set up a connection to an ArcSDE raster store, using Geoserver 2.0 running as a windows service. I'm getting the message that I've seen mentioned elsewhere for earlier versions of geoserver:
Could not list layers for this store, an error occurred retrieving them: ArcSDE Raster URL must be of the form sde://user:pass@sdehost:port/[dbname]#rasterTableName -- Got sde:\USER:PASS@HOSTNAME:5151\WLA#TABLENAME
The issue at
http://jira.codehaus.org/browse/GEOS-1447 seems to suggest that this problem of mis-translating slashes was patched quite a long time ago so I'm not sure why I'm getting it with a version of geoserver I've only just downloaded?
With the shiny new interface for setting up the datastore, I don't actually know how I can do it manually to work around this? Is there a way? Otherwise as far as I can see there is no way at all of adding an ArcSDE raster? Yet there's been a post on the list in the last couple of days indicating that it is at least possible!
Thanks,
Harry
