Architecture Questions

I apologize in advance if this is a total newbie question,  but I am just starting out with the mvpmc source code and I am trying to get the big picture of how the system is put together.

Is there a document or wiki page that describe the architecture of the mvpmc system, i.e. drivers used, which source code is used for which drivers... start up scripts,configuration setup?
