Are there some of you in Munich and Germany ?Hey all,
I'm living in Munich now and am searching for LUGs and especially women groups here (or in Germany in general). Except Ubuntu-users.de in Munich and a LUG defined as "a regular meeting of old friends around a beer", i found nothing else :/ Btw, LinuxChix doesn't seem to have a german branch (http://www.linuxchix.org/europe.html). Would you have any advises, suggestions, ideas,...? Thanks very much in advance. Rayna -- "Change l'ordre du monde plutôt que tes désirs." Well, there is the area muc Group, where Debian people meet. Not woman specific, but quite nice guys ;) See http://wiki.debian.org/LocalGroups/DebianMuc for Details. Yes, the link http://www.olpc-deutche.de is down for me, too. Maybe the link should be something like this: http://wiki.olpc-deutschland.de/wiki/Dir1mir1 ? > Also, the mailing list for the London Linux Chix also seems to be down. > > Are these temporary outages or do we need to tidy up? > > Regards > > L. > Have a sunny Saturday :o) Rayna > > -- > To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-women-request@... > with a subject of "unsubscribe". Re: Are there some of you in Munich and Germany ?Hi,
I'm so sorry for my full-quote and otherwise empty mail... and this is my debut on the mailing-list... I'm embarrassed. What I wanted to write: there is a website www.technixen.net and the mailinglist lynn. Both are in german, but maybe they can help you! Best regards, Lisa -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-women-request@... with a subject of "unsubscribe". Trouble? Contact listmaster@... |

Re: Are there some of you in Munich and Germany ?Hello,
2009/10/3 Lisa Eschner <eschner@...> Hi, Welcome :o) That's great, at least two more new persons to debian-women in a short period. And it's ok, I thought you would notice your empty mail and send another one ;)
Ok, thanks. I don't speak german yet since I arrived 2 months ago and the working language in the lab is English... That is why I was searching for some English-speaking folks, at least in the beginning.
Best, Rayna
