Assignment

Hello,

I have implemented a custom assignment manager where activities are associated
with our user groups from the DB. That works fine. I was wondering if it is
possible to add a new assignment outside of the assignment manager through some
API?

it is not possible to add new assignments through another APIs.

OK, thank you. This question was a result of other things related to
assignment. Anyway, I understand that all assignments are created when activity
is created and after that only existing instances can be re-assigned to some
other resource.
