Re: Autoeditor Election: fedyakovHello, fellow autoeditors,

That's one of the nominations that I'm positively sure about. He specializes mostly in Russian, Ukrainian, Belorussian language edits. Fedyakov is an active member of MusicBrainz since 2006 and I'm almost constantly stumbling upon his edits in my current MusicBrainz work. Although his edit counts are not extraordinary, I want to emphasis his solid knowledge of MusicBrainz standards, his strong help in defense of MusicBrainz against vandalism/hoaxes of some Russian bands, his general open-mindedness, readiness for dialogue and lack of brutality / aggressive "I want it that way and I don't wanna hear you" style. His communication skills are excellent, his English is very good (so he can explain everything properly), all his edits that I'm aware of are properly sourced. He's pretty active, and, since his and mine fields of editings correspond pretty closely, I'm kind of tired of starting every morning from getting a letter from MusicBrainz and doing traditional "vote yes" on all his edits. I find that he'll make an excellent member of MusicBrainz autoeditor team and would proudly enhance Russian language autoeditor community that seems to include 2-3 editors for now :) I've contacted Fedyakov and proposed nominatation about half a year ago, but he felt that he wasn't exactly ready for this. Now it's changed and I think now it's a good time to go :) My best recommendations - hope you'll like him :) -- WBR, Mikhail Yakshin _______________________________________________ MusicBrainz-automods mailing list MusicBrainz-automods@... http://lists.musicbrainz.org/mailman/listinfo/musicbrainz-automods |
