Automatic email when Status hits certain selections

I'm using Bugzilla v 3.2.5.  The application team enters bugs but sometimes the Systems team needs to be notified of these bugs through email (the Systems team is NOT assigned to anything in the bug or CC).  

We are thinking on using when the Status changes to certain selections, then send an email out to the Systems group.

Has anyone done something like or have any examples to share?
