Avelsieve & Snow Leopard ServerI am system engineer located in Zürich, Switzerland. We run a bunch of Mac OS X Servers. We also use the Mail Server of OS X. A while ago we introduced 'Avelsieve' so that our users could use filters on their mails. They were very happy because they could now redirect their mails by themselves as well as add other server based rules. An it was easy to do so. Now I have to migrate to Mac OS X Server 10.6 Snow Leopard. I do however not manage to get avelsieve to work in this configuration. I am using Mac OS X Server 10.6.1. This uses dovecot instead of cyrus. Versions: Mac OS X 10.6.1 Avelsieve 1.9.9 Dovecot 1.1.17apple0.5 Squirrelmail 1.4.17 Other plugins seem to work Telnet gives me:
When I log into my webmail account and click on Filters I get this error: "Could not log on to timsieved daemon on your IMAP server localhost: 2000. Please contact your administrator." Could you give me a hint at what the problem might be? SquirrelMail configtestThis script will try to check some aspects of your SquirrelMail configuration and point you to errors whereever it can find them. You need to go run conf.pl in the config/ directory first before you run this script.
PHP version 5.3.0 OK. display_errors: error_reporting: 22527 variables_order OK: GPCS. PHP extensions OK. Dynamic loading is disabled. Checking paths... Data dir OK. Attachment dir OK. Your help would be very appreciated Thanks Kurt ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Come build with us! Re: Avelsieve & Snow Leopard ServerIt has been replaced wth managesieve. Avelsieve plugin should be able to deal with managesieve and I had succes with that configuration in may, using one of the previous snow leopard build (10A286 IIRC). In any case, MacOS X Server 10.6 come with a new email-rules page : https://your.server.hostname/emailrules/ It requires HTTPS to activate. le 19/10/09 14:11, q3media à q3media@... a écrit : I am system engineer located in Zürich, Switzerland.
