Avelsieve & Snow Leopard Server

I am system engineer located in Zürich, Switzerland.

We run a bunch of Mac OS X Servers.
We also use the Mail Server of OS X.

A while ago we introduced 'Avelsieve' so that our users could use filters on their mails.
They were very happy because they could now redirect their mails by themselves as well as add other server based rules.
An it was easy to do so.

Now I have to migrate to Mac OS X Server 10.6 Snow Leopard.
I do however not manage to get avelsieve to work in this configuration.

I am using Mac OS X Server 10.6.1.
This uses dovecot instead of cyrus.

Versions:
Mac OS X  10.6.1
Avelsieve  1.9.9
Dovecot 1.1.17apple0.5
Squirrelmail 1.4.17

Other plugins seem to work

Telnet gives me:
telnet 192.168.81.22 2000
Trying 192.168.81.22...
Connected to tureplik.hopro.edu.
Escape character is '^]'.
"IMPLEMENTATION" "dovecot"
"SASL" "GSSAPI CRAM-MD5"
"SIEVE" "comparator-i;ascii-numeric fileinto reject vacation imapflags notify include envelope body relational subaddress copy"
"STARTTLS"
"RENAME"
OK "Dovecot ready."
^]
telnet> q
Connection closed.

When I log into my webmail account and click on Filters I get this
error:

"Could not log on to timsieved daemon on your IMAP server localhost:
2000.
Please contact your administrator."

Could you give me a hint at what the problem might be?

Re: [SM-PLUGINS] Avelsieve & Snow Leopard Server There is no more timsieved in Moc OS  X Server 10.6
It has been replaced wth managesieve.

Avelsieve plugin should be able to deal with managesieve and I had succes with that configuration in may, using one of the previous snow leopard build (10A286 IIRC).
In any case, MacOS X Server 10.6 come with a new email-rules page : https://your.server.hostname/emailrules/
It requires HTTPS to activate.
