Ayrecovery doesnt like uninstall?

I was trialling Ayrecovery one year free  with great satisfaction and when I decided I had understood its workings the XP system of my computer A manifested some errors which where dating back before Ayrecovery install,so I decided to uninstall the prog and start over with a new XP install on that machine.
I uninstalled normally via AddRemove as help specifies can be done.
Unfortunately I was plagued by a series of hassles: XP CD didnt want to start ,when it did it was installing a second XP in the second partition, the system had become a multiboot one and I had to modify the boot.ini to get rid of it,but it was impossible to force the XP CD to install an SP2 over an SP3 former system, no format command was working, so in the end I had to insert the BART PE CD and format the second partition where a second XP had been installed, then remove both the multiboot and the SP3, in the end I installed the EASUS disk manager (free) which deleted that second partition and left only one where XP CD finally did its work of formatting-installing anew.
To my surprise, anyhow, I found a few folders (a few by Ayrecovery) in Program Files which were a remnant of the previous install and, more importantly, I cannot access either BIOS or SafeMode anymore.
I am not that worried,as it is a Test pc, but I would have wanted to continue my year of trial with another computer of mine, if
1-this is feasible under the terms of the 'loan'..
2-Ayrecovery is not specialised in making havoc when uninstalled.....

Perhaps I didnt do right to just uninstall from AddRemove?

Edit: BIOS and SafeMode access have been recovered when using a PS2 keyboard in place of a USB one,so, nothing to do with Ayrecovery uninstall.
