That's used by a lot of aftermarket software programs. Try doing a
search of your own hard drive for MSVCP71.dll and see if you can't
find it in some other directory. If so, then simply copy it over to
your Bitpim directory. To do a search,  click START, SEARCH, "for
files or folders", then enter MSVCP71.dll in the Search box.

If you can't find it on your own machine, do a Yahoo search of the
internet; there's lots of places to find it. I believe it's even
available from the Bitpim website now. Download it from the internet
from some reputable site such as Sorge or Downloads.com. It will be
488 kB in size and the latest one seems to be dated 7/11/2006, 6:35
pm. If you have a virus/worm/trojan scanner, be sure to run it on
your download before moving it into your Bitpim directory. If it's a
size other than 488 kB, DON'T USE IT, it may be corrupted or
someone's messed with it. My computer has several earlier versions
dated 3/18/2003 and 3/19/2003, various times, which may be the
date/time that I downloaded them instead of the file's actual
creation date/time. But mine are all 488 kB in size.
