As I was listening to Kurt's and Brian's talks, a month after Federico's
hardware hacking talk, I had the thought that it would be nice to know
what these guys are up to between the talks.

Is there a local hardware hacking list you guys are hanging out on, or
is all the discussion happening on more topic-specific national lists
(municipal wireless, clustering, etc.)?

If there isn't something already, would there be interest in creating a
BLU hardware hacking subgroup? (Essentially just a separate mailing
list, and perhaps the subgroup could arrange for a BLU speaker once a
quarter or something.)

Thanks for the pointer.

I ran across a single episode of "Make" that aired on NH PBS last winter
and meant to mention it on the list here, but after adding a rule for it
to MythTV I never saw another episode.

I see the marathon you mention is running on 'GBH's "Create"
sub-channel, which unfortunately I don't get.

I believe some or most of the Make video content is available online:

It's on 44-3 on-air.

and plans and such downloadable at  http://make.tv they said.

Instructables is a crowd-sourced (cloud-sewered?) unedited
alternative, but Make is the real thing.
