BUG report?! Recharter Registration dollar amount field needs increase in size

In trying to complete the recharter, I just got an error message that says the registration amount can't be over $1,000.  However, with our council charging $15 per person and a total of 139 registered Scouts and Scouters, that comes out to more than $1,000!  

Can we PLEASE get a change to allow larger numbers?

That could be a problem with me as well since I have 40 kids, 18 adults
including Troop Committee.

I use internet recharter.  One, two three clicks, print, and submit the
cash to the office.

My bill last year was $1,674 for the Troop and Crew.

Same here for troop and pack not good, will find out in next month our
charter starts

Not sure whether or not it would have anything to do with it...even if some Units charter renewal dates fall before first of the year, but...

Could it be that TM doesn't recognize that the registration fees don't actually go into effect until after January 1st, 2010? Or, even the ScoutNet Online Rechartering system doesn't recognize this either yet?

You may have to call your Council Office and ask them which steps are necessary if your Charter Renewal is due before January, what you need to do in order to get it through without it being rejected.

Please don't take any offense, but.... Have you contacted TM directly?? This group is a wealth of information, but can do nothing to change the actual program. My suggestion, call TM, they are usually VERY helpful. See if this is a bug or what is going on.... ours has been over $1000 many years and we have never had a problem.....

AHA!  There I go overthinking it again...  I called Troopmaster and this field is for the PER PERSON cost (the program will do the calculation)!  Same goes for the Boys Life field:  enter the amount per person...

We're just getting started with Packmaster.  We have entered dates into the
program for tiger requirements, and I can see how many beads that the tiger
should have, but is there a way to track how many beads of each color a
tiger has earned during a period of time?   I can't figure out how to see
this, and without some manual entries, I can't figure out how to know how
many of each color beads to present to each member during the next pack
meeting.

Once you've gotten achievements, etc., entered into the system, or however Tiger Beads are accumulated, the software automatically tracks and will tell you in a report how many of each color bead a boy has earned.

If the data is in there, it pretty much does the rest...You'll see when you go to print out Advancement Reports for each Den.

I can see how many they should have, but nothing tells me how many they have
earned during the last period.  Take for instance the Tiger who has 3 orange
and 2 black beads.  They earn 2 more orange and 2 more black ones during the
month (the time between pack meetings).  The report will only say that they
have 5 orange and 4 black.  I'm looking to see if there's a way to have it
tell me that they earned 2 orange and 2 black during the last period
(similar to how rank achievements are handled).

The incremental beads earned in a given period is given in the "Pack/Den
Awards w/4403" report.  It will give you the results you are looking for
within whatever start and end date range you put in the report set-up.
