I have returned!
I'm still exhausted from the epic journey back, but I am happy in the knowledge that somewhere in deepest rural Russia, several children are now obsessed with the Sarah Jane Adventures. My work is done. :P
No, really, it was fantastic, it was so great to see the kids again. Miss them already.
But now I'm back, and I'm ready to work on finishing my degree, and on sprucing this place up a bit!
How's everyone getting on?

Welcome back, Llin!  Glad to hear that your trip went well!

The Sarah Jane Adventures made its US premiere this past Friday, so I am aglow with happiness.  :)  Hope that all is well with you!

Welcome back Llin.
Whats life like there these days?.

I've always been interested in their space programme, much of interest there and its oft denigrated by the Yanks (unfairly in my view).

Saw Ark in Space and Genesis of the Daleks recently as these autumn nights draw in.
Need rain though!.

I thought Roger Murray-Leach's designs for the Ark in Space, Planet of Evil and the Liberator spaceship in Blake's 7 were really good and ahead of their time.
Seeing all three examples recently, made me realise what a clever chap he is.
Most imaginative.

Well I'd better push off  as I've got an Everest paper to write.

See you in Cromhall quarry!.

Sounds like you had  a great time.  May I ask why you went there? I've always wanted to go St Petersburg. Do you speak Russian? Welcome back.

I went to visit the children's home I worked at last year, teach a bit of English, help out generally ,that sort of thing. I do speak Russian - not perfectly but quite well!
Definitely go to St Petersburg if you ever get the chance, it's a gorgeous city!

Sounds great. I bet you have alot of fun with the kids and them with you. I just got a ukranian boy in my class. Lovely kid. No english though. That's interesting. He's learning slowly. The alphabet is a bit of a barrier to fast learning. It's good your kids are learning english.
