Back-half class

Ricky, first, I am a paying member and a paying sponsor. I have been told that the back-half people were not allowed to vote on rules as they were not sent a ballot. I know I did not receive one. A 200# break is a surprise to me. The website states 3,100# for big block with nitrous, but it does not mention a 200# break
for non-power adder cars.
I was only trying to enable more cars to compete. If at all possible, do you think that the back-half guys could be included in the voting process? LRS

Larry, Ballots were only sent out for the rules changes involving the 10.5 class. At the last meeting the WTOPS guys voted on a few things (16 car field if count goes over 20 cars, etc,etc) that will soon be posted, but did not involve anything to do with weights. These minor changes will soon be updated and we gave everyone plenty of notice about this meeting. If you will look at the section involving blowers, turbos, and clutches, you will see that we give a 200# break for normally aspirated motors and this has been in our rules for 3 years and will now be there for 3 more.
