Bamboo Touch

Hello all,
The Bamboo touch just recently came out, and I just wanted to ask a
couple of questions...
First here is the link, in case you did not know:
http://www.wacom.com/bamboo/bamboo_pen_touch.php

So first, would the linux-wacom project take it upon itself to support
the multitouch for the tablet, or just focus on the tablet part itself?

Second, (and I know there is no way of knowing this without actually
having a tablet to test) do you think that at least the tablet part will
work with the existing linux-wacom release (since Bamboo has previously
worked...)?

Thanks,
Kory

Hi Kory,

Bamboo Touch has not support by linuxwacom yet.  It most probably would not work, even the tablet part, with the existing driver since it has a different product ID from the regular Bamboo, let alone the different features....

I am working on other features at this moment.  So, unless someone provide us with a patch for Bamboo Touch, it may take a while for me to work on it.
