Banshee was working fine until about a week ago. I'm not sure if it was an update, or if something I installed broke it.
When I start it, it brings up the gui and the attached error message. after about 3 seconds it shuts down.
I'm using the latest stable release from the Banshee PPA
It looks like it may be related to sqlite. I also have Amarok installed with sqlite and I'm running a Mythtv backend on the same system. (although that uses Mysql)

512Mb Ram
Soundblaster live 5.1
