OK - this must be a problem with the user (me)
Installed a fresh Oracle EX 10g under Windows XP
Installed the Oracle JDBC1.4 driver package (the latest I could find at
the Oracle site)
Ensured that I had a copy of JDK 1.5 installed and OO.o configured to
use it. (Although it seems to work as well with 1.6)
Ran through the Application Express tutorial - setup the HR sample
database, etc.
[everything seems to work properly...comments about their application
builder later..]
Created a new Base file on the same XP machine connected to the HR
database -[this is where it gets odd...but you knew this was coming]
More things work then don't work - but the things that don't work:
Query's in general are a problem (however SRB seems to do things
slightly differently and is less prone to problems)
QueryDesigner
May I ask if there is anyone actually using this setup...Did I miss a
step above?
