Bering-uClibc 3.1.1-beta3 - Still some missing i2c modules

Hi,

I finally got chance to upgrade to Bering-uClibc 3.1.1-beta3. Hit one
minor problem - while many of the i2c modules are now in modules.tgz
within the ISO image (fixed from beta2) there are still some missing.
The ones from source package "lmsensors" are there, but there are some
other core i2c modules that come from source package "i2c", (for example
i2c-dev, i2c-proc). Those are missing.

One other observation is that the files in modules.tgz are not owned by
root, so when extra modules are installed using "build-modules" they end
up owned by user dnslog, group 1000 in /lib/modules - works OK but looks
a bit strange.

Regards,

david M brooke

 Is there a driver for "TG-3269 TP-Link PCI Gigabite 10/100/1000 RJ45"
NIC for for Bering-uClibc 3.1?
From my research looks like this is the driver RealTek RTL8169s/8110s
Gigabit Ethernet controller but I can't find anything in mail lists/
Thanks for help. These cards are very cheap $16.99.

ipsec.lwp, tooltip.lwp

Hi folks

as promised I uploaded a few webconf files to CVS, namely

ipsec.lwp - a web interface for ipsec
tooltip.lwp - tooltips for the web interface, can be used by ipsec.lwp
pppoe.lwp - a small patch for haserl 0.9.x which will not affect haserl 0.8

One warning for those who want to test it. You need a haserl version 0.9
(I tested with 0.9.25) because ipsec_conn.cgi has multiple uploads
capability. Version 0.9 uses a slightly different dialect from haserl
0.8, for details see
http://haserl.sourceforge.net/cgi-bin/haserl/wiki/read?page=index

This means, a number of existing .cgi files will barf at you, namely
pppoe.cgi which will not run at all unless you use the patched version
from CVS.

Have fun

Erich

As a sanity check on the fix you implemented for the missing i2c-*
files, might you check that the modules.dep file now contains the
correct dependencies upon i2c-core, etc (e.g. by i2c-viapro)?

Thanks for LEAF!

I found that the i2c-core.o and i2c-proc.o files from the BuC3.1.1b1
release worked on my BuC3.1.1b3 setup.
