Hello!

Can  gnuplot  automatically  fit n gaussian functions to a dataset or at least
for  n=2  to  determin  two  mean  values  and  their  spread  for  a  bimodal
distribution?

Thanks for any help or hints

As long as you can write down the function in gnuplot syntax, 'fit' can
(try to) fit it.
