I have a position to advertise. Can it be posted on your website?
Stony Brook University is seeking a Senior Postdoctoral Associate to work
in Dr. Nancy Hollingsworth's lab in the Biochemistry and Cell Biology
Department. The candidate will utilize a chemical genetic approach to
identify meiotic substrates of the kinases Mek1 and/or Cdc7 using a
biochemical approach and then to characterize phosphorylation site mutants
of these substrates to determine the mechanism by which modification of
these substrates by the kinases affects meiosis. The candidate is
expected to be an active participant in lab group meetings and journal
clubs, as well as to present his/her work at scientific meetings. For
additional information about the Department or our research, please visit
