Bitbake build error

Hello All,

I'm new to gumstix and to buildroot. I am trying to get bluetooth
working on the verdex. I am aware that the model that I have are now
out of date but it is what work has provided me with so I have to use
them. I think to get bluetooth working I need Bluez and then pybluez.
I can't make a package out of bluez though. To be honest I don't know
what part of bluez I want. Do I want bluez-lib or bluez-util. If
someone could advise me about how to do this it would be great.

I get the following error whenever I try and build a package.

Parsing .bb files, please wait...done.
NOTE: Parsing finished. 4756 cached, 0 parsed, 236 skipped, 0 masked.
NOTE: build 200911031038: started

OE Build Configuration:
BB_VERSION     = "1.8.10"
OE_REVISION    = "<unknown>"
TARGET_ARCH    = "arm"
TARGET_OS      = "linux-gnueabi"
MACHINE        = "gumstix-custom-verdex"
DISTRO         = "angstrom"
DISTRO_VERSION = "2007.9-test-20091103"
TARGET_FPU     = "soft"

ERROR: Nothing PROVIDES 'bluez-test' (but '[]' DEPENDS on or otherwise
requires it)

Any advise would be excellent.

Thanks,

Ed Wilson

I guess, that you didn't add the necessary env variables in your console
session. Run

source ./build/profile

check using the command "env |grep OVERO" if the OVERO variables are
really available in your terminal session
