Hi,
New Bitpim user here.
I have a large amount of phone numbers I'd like to input into my phone. Bitpim seemed the best solution. However the data from the phone isn't coming into Bitpim, and an unexpected exception error is occuring.
Using Bitpim 1.0.6-official
On a Windows XP machine
Talking to a LG 8500 Chocolate from Telus in Canada
Using a USB datacable for the 8500.
All the USB drivers installed without issue (sourced from
http://www.humpa.com/vzw)
And Bitpim detects my phone correctly as an LG-VX8500 on COM4
BUT when I try and synch Bitpim and the phone (ie - pushing "get phone data", and "replace all", the following error occurs everytime):
=========================================================
BitPim version: 1.0.6-official
An unexpected exception has occurred.
Please see the help for details on what to do.

This error is occuring regardless if I pick "add" or "replace all".
I've seen some talk in the forums that this Canadian version isn't the
same as it's US counterpart... I'm wondering if this is what's causing
the problem?
A'ight... I'm out. Peace.
