i caught attention of a very very alpha version of something called Blotter :

simulation. Intends to provide portfolio support for multi-asset class
and multi-currency portfolios. Still in heavy development.
I think with AQ we are much further and can do it better. Maybe we should set up some fame-bounties or some use case applications that solve common use cases like this one above. It reminds me a bit of the aq-webui!
