Blue GUI : Compiling and playing "from" "to".Hi Steven,
Hi all, Just a trivial question about the (latest) GUI stuff : using it (on a Sun station) i'm still able to compile and play any .blue file "from" (that means the most important) any marker, but not "to" any other, only to the end of the piece itself. In other words, i cannot set two markers. Have i missed something at the use, or is just Java-1.6 required ? (Actually i installed nothing else our native 1.5). In the fact, the "add Marker" line inside the adequate menu is for me still blank. Cheers, Sergio |

Re: GUI : Compiling and playing "from" "to".Hi Sergio,
For render start you can jump marker to marker, but for render end time, you will need to use the right mouse button in the time bar. Just right-press and drag until you find the time you want to use for render end time. This works well in conjunction with loop mode. Let me know if that answers your question! steven On Wed, Nov 12, 2008 at 5:55 PM, cochedelaferte <Serge.Coche@...> wrote: > > Hi Steven, > Hi all, > > Just a trivial question about the (latest) GUI stuff : using it (on a Sun > station) i'm still able to compile and play any .blue file "from" (that > means the most important) any marker, but not "to" any other, only to the > end of the piece itself. Re: GUI : Compiling and playing "from" "to".Hi Steven,
Oah i'm the true newbie ! I tried the right button, but not at the right place ! Now of course allright... Great thank's ! - other (and last for this day) question, but less important : i can indicate successfully to Blue where is my Csound executable for the disk render, but not, strangely, for the general realtime use (Utility menu). But maybe it's still normal ? Cheers, Sergio |

Re: GUI : Compiling and playing "from" "to".Hi Sergio,
The csound executable can be set in the "Realtime Render" tab, the "Disk Render", and the "Utility" tab in Program Options. The one to set for general realtime use is in "Realtime Render". The "Utility" tab is used for things like the SoundFont viewer as well as SoundObject Freezing. Cheers! steven On Wed, Nov 12, 2008 at 6:22 PM, cochedelaferte <Serge.Coche@...> wrote: > > Hi Steven, > > Oah i'm the true newbie ! I tried the right button, but not at the right > place !
