I'm going to get an iPhone - I just haven't decided which carrier to go through yet. I'm heavily leaing towards Virgin at the moment; how is their coverage and customer service? They seem a lot cheaper than everyone else in terms of what comes out of the plan.

Are they that of your Great-Great-Grandpa that worked to lay the foundation for this once great Republic or is it that of your Great Grandpa who went about his ways in the fields and gardens with that of your Aunts and Uncles following the Stock Market Crash of 1929 whose Government's New Deal than is responsible for the mess and indebted population of today? Are they that of your Grandpas who built these great cities we now are living in and of which your Grandma sat at home baking her cookies and bringing about that family meal we all still love at those festive gatherings, but in their days would come about every night. Are they that of our parents who all of a sudden were forced into this world of globalization in which families have become separated to this new corporate culture of greed that is now before us in which it seems increasingly controlled by a few as our communities disintegrate? Or are they that of the still dreamers amongst us who find those dreams they once had as a child are no longer attainable because it is suddenly the American thing to work three jobs just to get by? Does it just not at times seem as though the American Dream has completely evaporated to all of us Dreamers out there as all of us just slave away in our factories of corporate America while its soon to be owned by foreigners who now hold all of our Dollars thanks to our Corporate Government Puppets of Washington and Wall Street or whatever alliance they claim themselves to. This is how we become slaves to the other Countries of the World who use America's military might to bring about destruction to foreign lands at the expense of our labor and blood while every American is just left in a World of Utter Darkness!

I ask anyone to please tell me where we went wrong as we see fellow neighbors all around us lose their homes while the tallest buildings amongst these lands still stand. I dare anyone to tell me it wasn’t from Wall Street and that of the corrupted paid off poliitcans of this current tyrannical Government!! Why do we continue to let them fool us in this debt paradise that Wall Street created that is now crashing down upon them as the Golden Bull charges full steam ahead right through the hearts of the Crooks of Wall Street and from that of our corrupted Government? Oh, my fellow Citizens of this Great Country and in Honor of those that have come and past, than it is now that I say the time to invest in America as their empire of debt collapses leaving Wall Street Bankers to drown in their bubble of Lies while we snatch up the companies of tomorrow for fractions of a cent today!! Buy a few shares in the pennies range of these future commodity and family businesses of America, but beware, for the Crooks of Wall Street who sit in our tallest buildings around us may very well drive the share down to fractions of a cent and that is when you snatch your huge stake in the companies of tomorrow by buying boat loads of their debt today that they can no longer afford to hold as they are cash strapped and now must sell those shares for a few pennies and quite possibly fractions of a cent. As long as they don’t keep letting these crooked bailouts happen and the destruction of currency to continue which is separating us from the true riches of our People, than now is the time to hold that Dollar that has since blessed America and that of God’s Works of which has since been spread throughout the globe . We must look upon the Ever-Seeing Eye of whatever Creator lies before us and once again stand Proud and Tall as long as the Lies and destruction don’t continue to sweep the globe.

Hold it up and just look at it and ask yourself what this instrument of evil has done to our Countryside as the Halls of the Devil continues to embrace it. Does it appear that whoever owns this instrument of Greed, of which is now printed by the Federal Government, have all control over our society and that of our Hopes and Dreams. Does not that centralization of power leave our population bowing down to the supposed wisdom of these false prophets that Grace Wall Street and Washington? It is now that I say that you should hold that Dollar high and proud once again as you buy thousands of shares in the rebirth of our Villages that the cash strapped Crooks of Wall Street are now forced to sell for fractions of a cent. It is only when you look the Devil in the eye that you will see what Satan’s Institutions have done to this Great Country and that will lead you to awake and cause all of God’s Blessed People to Reign Chariots from the Heavens upon the forces of hell brought by a tyrannical government in Corporate America. I would much rather try to brighten the days of Scrooge instead of having to worry about what the root of all evil has done to the Lost Dreamers of America! One needs not look too far to find the true Scrooge in every one of our communities whose buildings only continue to get bigger. It’s time for bank runs men and women of America and it is time to become your own Federal Reserve and give to the world that of which you think is important instead of having government decide for you!!! Yank every one of these Dollars of which I still hope is blessed by God out of these largest institutions and watch them tumble before our eyes and their hellish ways Swept once and for all from this Earth! We will cast the Shadow of Death that has since swept across the Corporate American Police State and cast the Devil into the abysmal depths of hell if we have to take our Republic back. If bank runs are the only way to restore Honor to our country, than that is what We the People will do. But I will say that if anyone tries to declare themselves mightier than God himself and seeks to destroy God’s Currency by raising themselves above the Temple in these lands that God has since blest, than that is when the All-Seeing Eye of the People will cast you in to the Shadows of Hell until your empire of lies and greed come tumbling down leaving the Temple of the People restored! If you go to Rense.com you will find a you tube video from Ron Paul advising he is not giving up and if the support is there will organise a march on Washington to overcome media bias.

I gave a talk at a local Toastmasters group here in the UK about RP and they were amazed about a third came up to me afterwards for more details and on the feedback slips said they never realised politics could be so interesting.

So keep telling people as the message will hopefully get back to the US and perhaps make a small difference in RP's favour.

I agree it is unlikley that Blacks will support him, like the looney left in the UK they can't see the woods for the trees and get hung up on issues like always putting more money into the National health system when most of health problems are down to poor diet or people smoking or drinking too much. There always needs to be a balance between giving people a carrot or the stick instead of pouring tax payers money into bottomless bucket. I think Paul using his logical arguments shows he knos this.

Back to the issue on Blacks, Paul was accused of being racist his response was very interesting in saying that he would advocate all blacks be released from priosn where no violent crime was committed.

I think if this got a lot of coverage in the US media then possibly many blacks might reconsider thier traditional voting patterns but as I have said before there is not an even playing field in the media.

I find it strange that Ron Paul would select a communist homosexual's birthday to raise funds. Martin Luther King stood against everything Ron Paul says he believes in. If Ron Paul is groveling in order to ward off attacks about those newsletters it will not help him. Blacks are not going to support him him no matter
how much he praises their patron saint. I have contibuted on each of the previous money bomb days, however, this time I will not send anything. I also disagree with Ron Paul referring to MLK as a great man,
which he has been doing for a couple of months. Maybe he knew these newsletters would be surfacing and he was hoping that his praise of the communists hero would somehow make amends. My contribution this time has gone to David Duke's money bomb to reprint his "My Awakening" book. There was nothing wrong with any of those newsletters anyway, and I am sure he read every word in them before they were printed.

Simply put he seems the only Politician who is prepared to tell the truth and not part of the establishment which is going to keep the perpetual wars going funded by the tax payers while the corporate world gets even richer.

Another aspect is the creeping fascism not necessarily racist by nature but more big brother in banning civil liberties, he is definitely against that.

Economically i am not sure about returning to the Gold Standard but so far this is the only positive thing i have heard to do sometihng about the economy which currently is being bought up by Asia and the Middle East. I believe he would end up being protectionist but feel this is liklely to happen anyway sooner or later.

Whether he has a chance is open to debate. The question is not whether he is popular but whether the establishment will allow him a level playing field. So far this looks unlikely.

The New Orleans meet-up #200 is trying to get a uniquely New Orleans idea off the ground. Super Tuesday coincides with Mardi Gras day, a huge celebration in Louisiana. We want to Ron Paul Super Tuesday with custom Ron Paul Mardi Gras Beads. In my experience, everybody loves mardi gras and the beads, join us in our grassroots effort. Their are 3 parts to our effort.

1. Raise $6000 to purchase 2500 mardi gras beads and send them out to as many Super Tuesday state's media outlets as possible. The envelope would include the collectible Mardi Gras bead and a press release mentioning all the things New Orleans grassroots will be doing and other state's meetup groups on that day. Every news station will probably cover Mardi Gras, and a great tie-in would be the Ron Paul bead to go along with their Mardi Gras coverage and leading into their Super Tuesday coverage. It's an excellent opportunity to once again prove how creative and unique Ron Paul's run for president is.

2. Sell individual beads for $15 as a collectible. $5 covers overhead at cost, and $10 goes to buying more beads for the media blitz and also our meetup canvassing mardi gras parade routes. Within the US. Contact us if your internationally located.

3. Your meet-up group can enjoy the Ron Paul Mardi Gras by getting together $450 for a gross of beads (12 dozen). I think it would leave the McCain/Romney/Huckabee supporters saying "where is my custom bead?" The beads come out to about $3 a bead. Contact me if you have any further questions.

Again these will make great collectibles. I don't think we'll have more than 10,000 beads made. You are right the way ahead is far from clear - Its appears to be the decline of the West and the rise of Russia and possibly Asia.

Some more ideas

Britain should end its role of the Global policeman's little brother, for a start bring back the 20,000 British troops in Germany and get them spending their salaries in British shops and help with the people that get flooded. Germany is rich enough to protect itself. Stay out of the Balkans this has been going on since before the 2nd World War. Anyone that wants our troops there should make sure they contribute a proportion to the costs 'if' Britain is judged to be the best option for peace but I doubt that. It is a disgrace that our soldiers have inadequate supplies and recovery facilities remember the swimming pool incident.

The NHS is a 'sick' joke - its role should be mainly just an A & E unit, people with degenerative diseases should be given dietary and nutritional info to 'cure' their diseases that would save Billions in payments to the Pharmaceuticals and for the tax payer. Check out Max Gerson the doctor that was curing diet with cancer he lost by 4 votes in the uS senate in favout of chemotherapy. Perhaps people over a certain age should continue to be treated but say everyone under 30 has to take responsilibity for thoer own health.

For a start ban GM & Nanotechnology in foods ban pesticides (Israel has and has seen its cancer rates drop). Instead grow organics this is a booming industry and like RP says leave alternative health alone.

Ban vaccinations that would save Billions as well, a lecture by a senior doctor I attended advised that Autism had increased by 800% since vaccinations were introduced. Also check SIV40 in relation to the Polo vaccine ( a monkey virus that is carcinogenic)

Look at landownership (this could start a civil war) but Britain & Spain are the only countries in Europe that have not had any land reformation. The big landowners also get a big rebate from Europe. So someone benefits from Europe!

Withdraw from Europe and restart our Fishing industry - Cod is back. Alos remove the red tape from Business.

So apart from fish and organics and hiring out our Forces what else could we export?

Financial Services -well I think they would have done a runner if all the above was implemented but maybe the above has got a few brain cells thinking and as for energy check out the stories about Tesla perhaps cheap energy is all around us........

Report of Libertarian convention in London on 27-28 October

Last week-end saw the holding of the Libertarian Alliance/Libertarian International convention at the National Liberal Club in London.

It's the first time I've ever attended, and overall I was pleasantly surprised, even though I didn't have much idea what to expect.

We met in the Lloyd George room (an irony considering his role in the rise of welfarism and the decline of classical liberalism), and broke for refreshments in the (now ex-) Smoking Room - a reminder, if one were needed, of just how dismal the prospects for liberty appear in the UK at present.

Points of interest/Action points of note? Try the following for starters:
- The Law of the Sea. Our inglorious Leaders are trying to award themselves control of the (sea?)lion's share (possibly via a branch of the UN). Considering how poorly state-managed resources are conserved (North Sea fishing grounds, anyone?), we need to raise a hue and cry about this one. Yes, folks, socialism and conservation are NOT in fact natural bedfellows - consider for instance the USSR's environmental legacy (in view of Chernobyl, one hesitates to use the word "glowing" even in jest).

- Law and Order. Things would improve greatly if we moved wherever possible towards a restitutionary focus (i.e. getting the offender to pay the victim, instead of taxing the victim and other innocents to keep the offender in prison). There are plenty of less/non-violent crimes for which this approach would be cheaper and probably more satisfying than the current approach.

- The Surveillance Society. It's probably here to stay. The question is who "owns" or controls the images and other data gathered about us? We may also wonder why the Panopticon State is being created, and just how privacy and freedom are linked (if at all). More of my own thoughts on this later.

In exchange for using notes belonging to bankers who create them out of nothing on our own credit, we are forced to repay in substance (labor, property, land, businesses, resources - life) in ever-increasing amounts. This may be the greatest heist and fraud of all time.

When a government goes bankrupt, it loses its sovereignty. In 1933 the United States declared bankruptcy, as expressed in Roosevelt's Executive Orders 6073, 6102, 6111, and 6260, House Joint Resolution 192 of June 5, 1933, confirmed in Perry v. United States, (1935) 294 U.S. 330-381, 79 L.ed 912, as well as 31 USC 5112, 5119, and 12 USC 95A.

The bankrupt United States went into receivership, reorganized in favor of 115 creditors and new owners. In 1913, Congress turned over America... lock, stock and barrel to a handful of criminals whose avowed intent from the beginning was to plunder, bankrupt, conquer, and enslave the people of the United States of America and eliminate this nation from the face of the earth. The goal was, and is, to absorb America into a one-world private commercial government, a "New World Order."

With the Erie R.R. v Tompkins case of 1938, the Supreme Court confirmed their success. We are now in an international private commercial jurisdiction in colorable admiralty-maritime under the Law Merchant. We have been conned and betrayed out of our sovereignty, rights, property, freedom, common law, Article III Courts, and... our Republic. The Bill of Rights has been statutized into "civil rights" in commerce.

America has been stolen. We have been made slaves, i.e. permanent debtors, bankrupt, in legal incapacity, rendered commercial "persons," "residents," and corporate franchisees known as "citizens of the United States" under the so-called "14th Amendment." Said "Amendment," which was never ratified - see Congressional Record, June 13, 1967; Dyett v. Turner, (1968) 439 P2d 266, 267; State v. Phillips, 1975 (affirmed) - created a citizenship for corporations, abstract statutory entities which are the products and definitions of the legislature and are fully taxable and regulatable thereby. Thomas Jefferson's prophecy has come to pass: "If the American people ever allow private banks to control the issue of currency... the banks... will deprive the people of all property until their children will wake up homeless on the continent their fathers conquered."

Since 1933 what is called the "United States Government" is a privately owned corporation of the Federal Reserve/IMF. It is merely an instrument whereby the banksters administer their ongoing subjugation and plunder of what was once considered "the last great hope of human freedom." All "public servants," officials, Congressmen, politicians, judges, attorneys, law enforcement officers, States and their various agencies, etc., are the express agents of these foreign principals - see Foreign Agents Registration Act of 1938; 22 USC 286 et seq, 263A, 185G, 267J, 611(C) (ii) & (iii); Treasury Delegation Order #91 - who have stolen the country by clever, intentional, and unrelenting fraud, trickery, treachery, non-disclosure, mis-representation, intrigue, coercion, conspiracy, murder (example: the murder of President John F. Kennedy and the continuing cover-up), etc. If there is a greater tragedy in human history it is hard to know what it is.

An insidious aspect of this is that "officials" like you may think you are "public servants," or upholding the "law," or other hoaxes. In truth you are conscientiously and assiduously serving the arch-enemies of yourselves, your own rights, your fellow citizens, continued... human rights, life, and freedom in general. YOU are seditiously administering the plunder, bankruptcy, conquest, destruction, dismantling, and elimination of your country. YOU are systematically defrauding, extorting, impoverishing, and injuring human life on the basis of crimes and lies of such magnitude, depth, and proportions as to be beyond human comprehension.

By so doing, you are committing TREASON and PERFIDY so immense as "to make the angels weep." If you and your fellow "officials" do not understand the real situation, you are ignorant, naive, deceived, and conned. You are sheer dupes. If you do know and are parties to it, you are guilty of evil and heinous BETRAYAL. You are in such case TRAITORS and CRIMINALS. All of you "in power" are therefore, either fools or knaves, either of which eminently invalidates your "authority" and renders null and void absolutely all moral obligation to pay allegiance or to obey the TREASONOUS SYSTEM you enforce with such mechanical viciousness.

If, you, "public servants" had any shred left of humanity, awe, heart, clarity, sanity, access to your true being and conscience, you would instantly resign and do everything possible to inform the American people of their plight and help us retrieve our rights and our country. Only by such means can you even begin to atone for your endless crimes against humanity, the lives you so arrogantly and mindlessly butcher with the "meat-grinder of the law."

You DID NOT CREATE the lives you "legally" assault; they DO NOT belong to you. Ignorance of the law - moral and natural law - is no excuse. You cannot engage in bringing harm to life and, like the Nazi's defense at Nuernberg, presume that because you do so under the "authority" of an imaginary, abstract, unreal legal fiction called "government" you are freed of the consequences of your acts. Moral and natural law are not obviated by ignorance, hubris and self-righteous militancy. Your entire system - from the ground up - is deceit and fraud. It is illicit in essence and ab initio. As Broom's Maxims 297, 729 put it: "A right of action cannot arise out of fraud." Honor is earned by honesty and integrity, not under false and fraudulent pretenses. The color of the cloth one wears cannot cover up the usurpations, lies, and treachery. "When black is fraudulently declared to be white, not all will live in darkness."

More and more people are awakening to the truth. What do you think the American people will do as they discover that they have no more country, that they are slaves to mortal enemies, that they have been tricked and betrayed by their "leaders" who sold them out? what do you think they will do when they realize that all their alleged "public servants" are willing or stupidly compliant parties to the plunder, bankruptcy, subjugation, and ruin of their lives and country?

Thomas Jefferson wrote: "An honest man can feel no pleasure in the exercise of power over his fellow citizens." Lincoln said: "Just as I would not be a slave, neither would I be a master." I will not participate in your corrupt, arrogant, and cruel fraud, either as perpetrator or victim. The great Indian poet Tagore wrote: "Power takes as ingratitude the writhing of its victims."

I will no longer sit here and writhe. The TYRANNY over this nation MUST END! If you continue with this course, you will have natural and moral law and higher powers to answer to, not to mention all those you have wronged under phony color of law. You will also have your own laws turned against you, as you have turned the law against us. To transform the shield of protection into a sword of exploitation, subjugation, and plunder is perfidy. You have now been placed on notice. All further actions on your part will be willful!

Yeah! Libertarianism is a totally alien concept in the UK

And before anyone curious enough asks, libertarianism doesn't have anything in common with the British Liberal party or the Social Democrats.

Most people still alive in the UK have experienced life under welfare socialism, which encompasses both Labour and conservative sides of the political spectrum.

I hope Ron paul will open some eyes over here but I suspect we will need to undergo a very drastic and severe economic shock before more people realize we simply can't afford the welfare state anymore.

Anyone who would promote the destruction of our beloved welfare state would be ridiculed and effectively commit immediate political suicide.

The state of the global economy, the utter debasement of our monetary system, the nepotism of all our politicians and elected officials and the stranglehold the banking system has over all our lives is all indicative of a system on the verge of collapse. Expect much tougher times in the coming years as our debt fuelled ponzi economy implodes. Once people are begging in the streets, made homeless by the imploding economy and enslaved by debts that they cannot ever hope to repay, maybe, just maybe a greater number of people will wake up and listen.

Yes, successive UK governments and their supporters must also bear their share of responsibility in the current mid-East mess, and fortunately British troop levels are being reduced. Unfortunately, most people here will forget to ask UK government to stop paying private "security contractors" in Iraq and Afghanistan, and meanwhile the libertarian movement here is far less influential than in the US. This is partly because it's growing from a very low baseline. Consequently, the easiest way for UK libertarians to raise our profile is to back it all we can in the US - and wait for some "blowforward" as it were.

Ron Paul is indeed a world wide phenomenon, but that's partly because he's not only promising to save US taxpayers serious money by closing US bases - it's because, in so doing, he's promising over 130 countries freedom from US military pressure and interference. What's not to like?

In 1982 Ron Paul argued against giving Turkey and Saudi Arabia weapons and said that they would one day be used against our interest. It is in his new book "A Foreing Policy of Peace."

Those F16's that Turkey are using were a "gift" from the U.S.

Ron Paul knows it is bad for America to sell or give away weapons. The world is pissed because most people killed in wars are killed by American made weapons / not to mention by the west (england included) meddling in the middle east.

Turkey has a legitimate national defence reason , the U.S. does not!
Brits keep it up and pressure your govt to remove all troops from Iraq and Afghanistan.

This is Awesome! Ron Paul is a world wide phenomenon. The news media here is starting to censure him less and his campaing is really growing.
