retitle 522920 linux-2.6: please set CONFIG_MOUSE_PS2_ELANTECH=y (for various EeePC models)
usertag 522920 debian-eeepc-devel@...
thanks

The issue is about kernel support. All that's needed to allow this bug report
to be closed is for CONFIG_MOUSE_PS2_ELANTECH to be enabled.

Lenny userland stuff is a separate, though related, issue (but see
http://alioth.debian.org/~dsalt-guest/eee/ for new-enough X drivers).

If I save time, when do I get to spend it?
