Bug#536801: Wrong colors on powerpc in gl applicationsPackage: mesa
Severity: normal Hello, I believe I have the same issue after recent gnome upgrade which uses mutter. When my desktop strts up everytjing is in very strange colors, something is completely unusable (unreadable) and some graphic glitches shows up. I tried to change driver in X from radeon to ati, but ut us the same. Maybe less of graphical glitches but it is hard to say. I'll be happy to provide more information if needed. Unless you get wrong colours in all OpenGL applications, e.g. even in glxgears as mentioned by the reporter of this bug (which is BTW specific to swrast_dri.so, which you're probably not using or mutter either wouldn't work at all or would likely be unusably slow in the first place), it's probably not the same issue. -- Earthling Michel Dänzer | http://www.vmware.com Libre software enthusiast | Debian, X and DRI developer -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-REQUEST@... with a subject of "unsubscribe". But if you say this is specific to some file... I also tried running mutter with --no-composite but no change. Right now I don't know if it is related to this bug or not. Do you suggest I try something? Thanks Tomas Safarik -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-REQUEST@... with a subject of "unsubscribe". Trouble? Contact listmaster@... |

But if you say this is > specific to some file... Yes, this report is about the swrast driver. Unless you're also using that (compare the glxinfo renderer string with the one posted by the reporter of this bug, or if in doubt just provide the glxinfo output), please find a matching report or file a new one with at least the full glxinfo output and Xorg.0.log. -- Earthling Michel Dänzer | http://www.vmware.com Libre software enthusiast | Debian, X and DRI developer -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-REQUEST@... with a subject of "unsubscribe".
