Bug#549312: Update: synaptic also has problem

I spoke too soon - in my last report.
The same problem (sometimes) happens in synaptic.
I guess means that the problem lies at a lower level than either synaptic or
aptitude.

The crash is in the dynamic linker, which implies that there is
something wrong with the way the cdrom method conditionally uses
functions in libudev0.  Which version of libudev0 do you have installed?
