Bug#555442: console-setup should support shifts_toggle

Package: console-setup
Version: 1.45
Severity: normal

If I do a dpkg-reconfigure consle-setup, I get a nice gui for setting all sorts
of keyboard options.  However, my prefered layout toggle option,
grp:shifts_toggle, is not listed.  I managed to work around this by direcly
editing /etc/default/console-setup (is there some way to directly edit debconf
values?), but it would be nice if this option were available using the standard
front-end.

It is impossible to support shifts_toggle on the Linux console.  Thats
why this option is not included in the debconf menu.  I added the tag
wontfix because I think it will be inconvenient for the users to include
partialy supported options.  If the other developers think that
shifts_toggle should be included in the menu, I will make the required
changes.

The proper way to tune the configuration of console-setup is to either
use dpkg-reconfigure or to edit directly /etc/default/console-setup.
The values in the debconf data-base are ignored.
