Hi,

The current version of TortoiseSVN (1.6.6.17493) fails to install on a Window 2008 Std VM (Virtual PC), It appears the problem is with the installer.

Problem description:

I downloaded the current version
I started the installation
I accepted the terms
On clicking the next button a dialogue pops up stating “Please wait while installer finishes determining your disk space requirements”
The installation does not progress beyond this point

Additional note: I have used this product on previous Window versions (2003 etc) VM’s successfully.

You have to report this bug to the one who makes your VMs.
A quick web search about this and you'll find tons of reports that an
msi never finishes determining the disk space when used in certain VMs.
Some users reported that deinstalling the VM addons sometimes helps.
