please add a comment to each bug explaining why you think it should be
closed- allowing the original submitter right of reply. after some period
of silence / lack of confirmation that it has been fixed in the latest
release, if you believe it has been fixed or is reported in err, it could
be closed with a note to reopen it if needed. generally I'd leave about a
month, especially if it is an anonymous reporter who isn't notified of
the update to the ticket.
