I am trying to upgrade Bugzilla 3.2.3 -> 3.4.2 on a windows box and I
can not find the Daemon-Generic perl module.

My PPM repo is shown as

C:\bugzilla-3.4.2>ppm repo list
+---------------------------------+
| id | pkgs  | name               |
+----+-------+--------------------|
|  1 |   294 | theory58S          |
|  2 |   294 | uwinnipeg          |
|  4 |    21 | wxansi             |
|  6 | 11811 | trouchelle.com     |
|  7 | 11569 | activeState        |
|  8 |     0 | Dag Apt Repository |
|  9 |   461 | bribes             |
+---------------------------------+
 (7 enabled repositories)

But my PPM doesn't show Daemon-Generic as availale to download ?

Also, I have seen a report about a memory leak when using the perl_mod
for templates. Is this confirmed.

My install 3.2.3 is stable, but slow and want to upgrade to make use of
the mail daemon, but I don't want to introduce a memory leak.

Any clues please.

It's optional, and it doesn't work on Windows.

mod_perl doesn't work for Bugzilla on Windows either, so you don't have
to worry about that. And the leak was fixed.
