Bugzilla for dummies?

Hello,

Just getting started with Bugzilla, have checked it out before and
always found it to be a daunting, geeky task of getting this thing up
and running. I've been developing a complex Access database for about 5
years now, so have a few thousand past issues and a few hundred current
issues to add to Bugzilla, should I ever get that working. I just need
to get it set up with all its perl/sqls/cvs/other associated stuff
that's required for installation, and given all else I have to do in my
busy day, it just seems to be a daunting task. Is there by chance a
Bugzilla for Dummies anywhere? A nice, easy set of instructions for
getting this installed and working?

Or how about a web-based bugzilla, just sign up and start entering data?

Thank you,

Carlo

Don't know of any hosted bugzilla solutions but the documentation that comes
up with is easy enough to follow and install, for me at least :-). If you
are familiar with the databases, you can even write a simple script to
extract the data from Access and import into Bugzilla DB rather easily as
well. Good luck!

The installation and configuration process is well documented, if you
have any problem feel free to describe it.

Have you read the installation instructions? If so, what's wrong with
them? If not, then why are you asking without having checked the
documentation we've provided? :-)

Bugzilla is web-based :-)

See the Bugzilla parts of wiki.mozilla.org for a list of Bugzilla
hosting providers.
