The Bulgarian community will be having its summer picnic dance festival on August 2nd in Moraga. This year it will be at the Redwood Grove above St. Mary's College which is a beautiful location out in the forest (details and a map will be forth-coming from Miles). Nestinari will be playing with Rumyana singing Bulgarian and Nikko singing Greek songs.
The community has always enjoyed participation from the American Balkan scene and especially singers or musicians that like to perform at these events. If you are inolved with any groups who might be interested in participating, you would be very welcome. I greatly appreciate it on behalf of the picnic committee.
