All accepted and presented conference papers will be included in IEEE CS Proceedings and selected papers will be included in International Journal of Computer Science & Applications (ISSN 0972-9038).

The First International Workshop on Network Security & Applications (WNSA-2008) focuses on all technical and practical aspects of security and its applications for wired and wireless networks. The goal of this workshop is to bring together researchers and practitioners from academia and industry to focus on understanding Modern security threats and countermeasures, and establishing new collaborations in these areas.
Authors are solicited to contribute to the workshop by submitting articles that illustrate research results, projects, surveying works and industrial experiences that describe significant advances in the areas of Security & its applications.

Paper submission
 
Authors are invited to submit papers for the workshop through E-mail (wwsa2008@... or workshop@...) by June 30, 2008. Submissions must be original and should not have been published previously or be under consideration for publication while being evaluated for this workshop. The workshop proceeding will be published by IEEE CS Series. Please visit workshop web page (http://www.netwsa.com) for more details and submission information.
Selected papers from WNSA 2008, after further revisions, will be published in the special issue of International Journal of Computer Science & Applications (ISSN 0972-9038) (confirmed).

Call for Papers

1st International workshop on Web services & Semantic technology will provide an excellent international forum for sharing knowledge and results in theory, methodology and applications of web & semantic technology. The growth of the World-Wide Web today is simply phenomenal. It continues to grow rapidly and new technologies, applications are being developed to support end users modern life. Semantic Technologies are designed to extend the capabilities of information on the Web and enterprise databases to be networked in meaningful ways. Semantic web is emerging as a core discipline in the field of Computer Science & Engineering from distributed computing, web engineering, databases, social networks, Multi media, information systems, artificial intelligence, natural language processing, soft computing, and human-computer interaction. The adoption of standards like XML, Resource Description Framework and Web Ontology Language serve as foundation technologies to advancing the adoption of semantic technologies. The aim of the workshop is to provide a platform to the researchers and practitioners from both academia as well as industry to meet and share cutting-edge development in the field.

Paper submission

Please submit your papers via the WeST 2009 EDAS conference management system at WeST 2009 Paper Submission (You may first have to register with the EDAS system if you have not already done so.) Final, camera-ready papers must conform to the author guidelines and must not exceed ten pages in length. Submissions must be original and should not have been published previously or be under consideration for publication while being evaluated for this workshop. Accepted papers will be published in the conference proceedings. (Refer ITA 05 proceedings and ITA07 proceedings). Selected papers from WeST 2009, after further revisions, will be published in an international journal.
