Some context might help.

What are you doing to produce this message?  (E.g. running a particular
application?)  Please tell us the steps to reproduce it.
Is it a showstopper, or can you continue?
Where is it appearing? (MVS console, job output, Hercules, DOS, Linux?)
Is that the entire message? Is there an error number or code or prefix?

Cheers,
Peter

I doubt anyone can help you with the information you have provided. More
specific information is really needed.

What issued the message?

Usually messages issued within a MVS environment have a message identifier
which consists of letters and numbers.

We use this message identifier to look the message up in the appropriate
message manual. A previous enquiry by you included the msgid of ARC0909E.

A useful resource to use Lookat here
http://www-03.ibm.com/systems/z/os/zos/bkserv/lookat/

Here you can enter the msgid and it will return the information you need to
progress further.

Hercules itself uses the msgid concept for the messages it issues. Refer to
the main Hercules site - http://www.hercules-390.org/

If the message came from outside Hercules or the OS running underneath it,
then it is from your local environment.

As far as I'm aware, standard practice is to check
the input queue and then delete some things from
there.

Not dissimilar to standard practice for when you
tread on a mine (ie jump 20 feet into the air and
spread yourself over a large area - ref Blackadder
Goes Forth).

Without wishing to appear a sucker - are you serious?

Did my "advice" actually work? If it did, it opens up
an entirely new paradigm for answering vague questions.

Console message from which operating system? What
command did you use to delete things?
